ABOUT THE DANDY

The Dandy American is an experiment as an online blog/magazine devoted to not only the "Dandy" Lifestyle but also a life of gracious living.   It is a branching off of my first blog "The Preppy Times" and more suited to readers with classic living leanings. 

Although the title refers to the "Dandy," dandy is simply a metaphor for all who subscribe to this lifestyle and that includes "Quaintrelles."  It is our belief that gracious living is not sexists, racist, pretentious, expensive or ostentatious, it is traditional, simplistic, timeless and refined. 

It is in this blog magazine that we hope to present this timeless way of "being" while giving the reader something to take away, hopefully with a smile.
